NICE TO MEET YOU ...
My name is James Veal and I'm very excited you have found my page. I love working with people who want to build wealth. Most people were never taught basic finance skills in school or at home, but that should not stop them for trying. It's never too late to learn and strive to be financially independent - and live the life you've always dreamed of.
Have you ever asked yourself these questions:
"How can I improve my financial matters so that I don't have to worry about going broke?"
"Is it really possible to learn this financial stuff even when it seems so complicated?"
"What is the best way to start investing even though my job doesn't pay well?"
"I'm about to retire soon, so how would I know I'll have enough money to live comfortably in retirement?"
"How can I build wealth when I have accumulated so much debt?"
If so, then you've come to the right place!
"We've help people understand the complexities of investing in simple ways - and use those strategies to build wealth and establish financial independence."
My Story
I grew up in a North Philadelphia Housing Project up until the age of fourteen.
Although we lived in a low-income neighborhood and didn't have much, me and my brothers still enjoyed growing up there - and we had our parents. We learned a lot at home, did well in school, and stayed out of trouble (my parents made sure of that).
I wanted to make my family proud, so hard work and perseverance were the engines to get me there.
After stumbling across an old TV program called, "This Week With Louis Rukeyser" (way back in the day) and dislodging a collection of Black Enterprise magazines in my Aunt's guest bedroom closet with beautifully dressed black people on the covers. My mission was set. I knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to work on Wall Street and become a stockbroker like those folk I saw on/in the magazines. And that's exactly what I did!
Twenty plus years later, I currently own and operate my own investment advisory firm in downtown Philadelphia - helping people grow their wealth and retire in comfort.
Why I Do It
Financial literacy is not a term I ever heard growing up. While my parents did their best to provide for our family, we basically lived paycheck to paycheck in those earlier years.
Seeing my family and other families struggle inspired me to aim higher. My mission was set to learn and master this financial stuff and bring it back to my old neighborhood and African American Communities.
My experience and knowledge has given me the opportunity to help people get out of debt and build wealth. I'm striving to help as many people as possible build a better life for themselves and their families - as I did.
